Russian dancer, studied at the Imperial ballet. Famed for her dance creations, especially The Death of the Swan, The Butterflies (Papillions) and Autumn Bacchanal. Settled in Paris and with her husband Victor d'Andre she founded a school for teaching interpretative dance.
